Can I assume this will cover migrating from 2003 to 2003 R2? Or might I regreat this assumption?
I am scheduled to complete the aforementioned task in the next 20 days or whenever the new server arrives – whichever comes first. Can not seem to decide to go with the $200.00 SwingIT approach or rough it out using what I am certain will be the cryptic approach given to us by Microslough.
Any advice would be appreciated and its good to have stumbled across a local source of SBS information. I am located in NKy.

Hey Kevin, there’s actually another SBS group in Northern KY / Cincinnati (CiNPA). http://www.cinpa.org/ and Kevin Royalty [SBS-MVP] is the leader of that group.
Jeff Middleton’s Swing IT kit is certainly the best material out there (hands down) for migration regarding an SBS box. But if you’ve only got 20 days, the learning curve may be a bit steep. If you’re an IT consultant, buy the SwingIT kit because you will use it multiple times and it will easily pay for itself. And if you’re a network administrator and simply need the server to be up and running as quickly as possible once the new hardware arrives, you’ll probably be better off leaving it to a professional. I personally know a lot of super-sharp Microsoft Small Business Specialists in NKY, and would be more than happy to help connect you with several people that I can highly recommend (Cincinnati, Lexington, Louisville, and points in between).
But to answer your question directly, the SwingIT kit has everything you need.
My cell number is on the ‘Contact’ tab of this website if you have questions.
